Traditional mooncake or snowskin mooncake, I guess we should be very familiar with them. But what about Teochew mooncake? Have you tried before?

I thought it makes a perfect gift for the elderly with the stunning red boxes that bear intricate lotus motifs. Also, I appreciate how customers are able to mix and match different flavours in a box.
I couldn't resist but to bring out my dad's tea set once again. :D
Salty tau sar 咸豆沙月饼 (single yolk), Medium (4pc/box) - $25.80, Large (1pc/box) - $22.80.
The filling encompasses a blend of salty mung bean paste with a single egg yolk, fried shallots, white sesame and is seasoned with white pepper. This makes the mooncake so flavourful! No doubt why this is Thye Moh Chan's best seller!
Teochew Double Delight 潮州双拼月饼, Medium (4pc/box) - $25.80.
A double delights of red bean paste and a unique ‘crystal’ filling made with winter melon, melon seeds, citrus strips, white sesame, spring onions, and glutinous rice flour. I love the crunchiness coming from the various filling and they compliment so well!
Yuan Yang 鸳鸯月饼, Medium (4pc/box) - $25.80.
Brimming with a generous filling of savoury mung bean paste, fried shallots, white sesame, spicy pork floss and salted egg yolk, this novel creation is also accented with a proprietary spice mix. This was definitely a flavourful one! My only complain would be.. why there's only one?! T.T
Sweet tau sar 甜豆沙月饼 (no yolk), Medium (4pc/box) - $25.80, Large (1pc/box) - $22.80.
Picked from sweet mung bean filling, which has been prepared with the utmost care from scratch. The rendition comprises of melon seed to complement its sweetness. The sweet tooth in me approve of this mooncake.
Did I just say I like all the four different Teochew mooncakes tasted? I surely do, especially when the pastry skin was so flaky! 4 surely weren't enough for me. Oops. :P
