Review: Long Phung Vietnamese Restaurant

Do you know that there's a Little Vietnam in Singapore. I'm sorry for being so ignorance, but I wasn't aware until the girls brought me to Joo Chiat for a really yummy authentic Vietnamese dinner.

Long Phung Vietnamese Restaurant was established by a Vietnamese lady, Chi Lan, who shifted to Singapore with her family. Thus, the restaurant is really famous for their authentic, frills free and good Vietnamese cuisine. In fact, it is voted as the best Vietnamese restaurant in Singapore by Vietnamese community and locals.

They offer an extensive menu items in reasonable price, high quality and unique flavour. In fact, the number of dishes offer here is much larger in comparison with other Vietnamese restaurants in Singapore.

My lovely dinner dates.

First authentic Vietnamese food for me!

The Vietnamese Prawn Roll, 4 for S$6, 6 for S$9 - served with a sweet sauce with peanut, garlic purée and chilli. This is good for sharing because the rolls were really huge and full of fresh ingredients!

Chicken Pho, $5.50.

Spicy seafood noodles soup, $5.50.

Shrimp noodles soup, $5.50.

I have to say I LOVE EACH AND EVERY OF THE ITEMS ORDERED. All the soup broths were so clear and sweet. It was very addictive as well! The rice noodles on the other hand were really soft and chewy as well! Definitely a must-try if you’re here!

Of course, our usual bakes exchange. The girls can never fail to amaze me with their talents!

Thank you for the lovely night my dears.

We have nothing but praise for this authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The food was really very hearty and it felt so like home. Most importantly, the price is extremely affordable. No wonder there was constantly a queue outside the eatery even after 9pm!
